Studying English at A-Level is truly eye-opening, offering the ultimate range of perspectives in viewing literature through different lenses (Marxism, Feminism, Eco-Criticism). Here the links to historical context are explored in depth, and your own critical voice can flourish.
English Literature A-Level is both rigorously academic and highly interpersonal – whether you are examining texts under the tragic or comic genre there such scope for discussion, linking texts you read and developing an evaluation of how they reflect or subvert conventions of their time (and ours).
